Sue joined the firm in 2000 and in 2008 became a partner in the Municipal and Utility Services area of the firm. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University and has over fourteen (14) years of experience in working with Indiana communities and their utilities on financial issues. Her practice is concentrated in the area of utility rate setting, accounting and deregulation consulting. Sue has represented municipals, not-for-profit, cooperatives and investor owned utilities.

Prior to joining the firm, Sue accumulated seven years of utility experience, five of which were with the Indiana Office of the Utility Consumer Counselor. She has experience with utility accounting, cost of service, revenue requirements, regulation, alternative regulatory plans, deregulation and issue research. While at the Consumer Counselor’s Office, she was a member of the Energy Policy Working Group, which advised the Governor and State Legislature on issues in the Electric Industry.

As a partner within the firm, Sue is responsible for feasibility studies, asset valuation studies, capital funding projects, cash flow analyses, revenue sufficiency reviews, due diligence reviews, rate case preparation, review of gas cost adjustment filings, matters pertaining to electric power issues and governmental accounting.
